Opening address and introductions
Shane Halpin, CEO of Viatores Christi, current lead applicant and co-applicant in two EU AVI consortiums will deliver the opening address and introductions
Oonagh Aitken former CEO of Volunteering Matters (the leading UK volunteering charity engaging more than 20,000 volunteers each year) and current President of the international network Volonteurope and board member of Solidar, the European Civic Forum and European Lifelong Learning Platform will lead a comprehensive seminar aimed at providing key information on access to EU funding sources, particularly the European Solidarity Corps (ECS) new strand: European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps and the application processes involved for private-sector companies, non-profit organisations, public bodies and local authorities/municipalities.
Suzanne Kavanagh, Senior Client Services Officer, Léargas, Ireland will also speak about the European Solidarity Corps and incorporation of EU Aid Volunteering
