A weekend workshop (Saturday and Sunday) on Project Cycle Management, Results Focused Planning and Monitoring and Evaluation.

Who is this for?
Existing or prospective volunteers, development workers, missionaries who wish to gain greater knowledge of the principles of Project Cycle Management, Results Focused Planning, how to draft a good quality application for the Misean Cara PSS or MPSS funding scheme, gain better knowledge of the importance of Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects and learn how to undertake a basic review of projects.
An adult learning approach will be used which will be a mixture of didactic instruction, group work, case study, and shared experiences.
What will you learn?
Participants will be able to:
Use a results focused approach to planning interventions
Use participatory techniques with local communities
Work with local communities to identify needs within the community
Plan with local communities and stakeholders in a collaborative manner
Plan sustainable, viable projects that respond to needs identified by local communities
Draw up quality funding applications to support such projects
Monitor the implementation and outcomes of projects
