Private Donations

We are very appreciative of the generous donations and legacies that we receive from private individuals which enable us to continue supporting our partners. If you would like to make a donation, please go to our Donations page.

Remember if you donate €250 or more in a year, VC, as an approved body can claim a refund of tax paid on that donation.

Legacies

Over the years, Viatores Christi has been deeply grateful to receive generous legacy gifts from committed members and supporters who believe in our mission. These gifts help to carry forward the vision of our founders: building a more just and equitable world.

By including Viatores Christi in your will, you can help ensure that our vital work continues to make a difference for generations to come.

A legacy gift is more than a donation — it's a lasting impact.
Please consider remembering Viatores Christi in your will.

Value for Money

VC is dedicated to maximising the effectiveness of contributions

To achieve the best value for money, VC understands that it needs to make the most effective use of its resources as possible. However, VC’s approach asserts that while costs are important, the primary focus of VfM should be to ensure that its partners, through the help of VC’s support, are delivering life changing outcomes.

If life changing outcomes are not occurring, then VC’s work cannot be good VfM, no matter how cheaply it is delivered.

Monitoring and Evaluation

Ensuring our impact is measured and documented

Monitoring and Evaluation is inherent to the support we provide to partners, both in terms of project implementation and changes intended at the partner level. We ensure that our work is rigorously assessed and our impact is clearly documented.

Our development results are central to monitoring and evaluation. We always collect baseline data prior to the start of a project and we work with partners to identify when and how we will measure progress.

We use M&E to identify changes and improvements that may be required in the operation of projects and programmes and review our strategies along with our international partners to assess if we are doing the right things. We are committed to demonstrating results and provide excellent training in this area as part of our Venture – Training for Development Programme.
