Viatores Christi CLG is guided by a Board of Directors, known as a Council, who provide oversight and support in areas of governance, organisational and operational issues, policy development, finances, membership and strategy. The VC Council is made up of 10 members – which consist of a President, Vice-President and Treasurer and ordinary members. The Council is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting during September.
The VC Council members have, between them, accumulated vast experience in overseas development as well expertise in other areas including media, law, finance, healthcare and more.

Pauline Conway, who has served on the Viatores Christi Council since 2029, was elected as the President of the Council in September 2022. Pauline, who lives in Monkstown, Co. Dublin, Ireland is a retired Irish diplomat, who spent thirty years working in the Department of Foreign Affairs. She served as Head of Mission in Ethiopia (1998-2004) and Tanzania (1991-1996), worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Lesotho (1987-1989) and at Ireland’s Mission to the United Nations in New York (1981-1985). Much of her work in Dublin was focused on international development and African issues. Since retirement, Pauline served on the Board of Misean Cara for six years (2013- 2019) and chaired its Programmes Committee. She is currently a Board member of Christian Aid Ireland and of Shalom Ireland (which Supports conflict resolution and reconciliation in Kenya).
