Venture Online
Live, interactive delivery
Venture has run successfully for over 60 years, providing a broad range of learning, in-person, at our headquarters. To meet the need of todays development workers, volunteers and professionals, and to open our training to a global audience, Venture is now being offered online. It is an excellent course for those starting out in their careers or considering a career change into these sectors. The programme includes live workshops and masterclasses with experienced specialists and professionals, and on-line self-study modules that participants can complete at their own pace.
Venture runs over 3 weekends normally twice a year between September and November and between January and March. It consists of 6 days (approx. 5 hours per day) of live training sessions, plus access to over 20 hours of online, independent learning.

UpSkills
Asynchronous, self-paced and in your own time
VC’s Upskills offers online training for those seeking to learn and advance their careers in the area of project development and management, dealing with topics that are vital to the successful running of a development or humanitarian project or an NGO.
The courses have been created by professional facilitators to build on existing knowledge while also striving to teach new skills and best practices.
These short, online courses can be completed whenever suits your schedule – and once you have purchased a course and enrolled you will have a generous 8 week window to complete the course. After 8 weeks your enrolment for the course will expire. Each of our courses have an estimated study time of 6-10 hours.
